This bill reestablishes the Appraisal Management Company Registration Program within the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs to conform with the minimum standards of the Appraisal Management Companies Final Rule and the federal Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. It reestablishes registration requirements, standards, and penalties for violations, and makes appropriations from the Compliance Resolution Fund. The bill is effective September 30, 2050, with certain sections taking effect earlier on July 1, 2050 and , 2050.
