This bill makes the state's agricultural tourism requirements applicable to all counties, instead of only those that have adopted an agricultural tourism ordinance. It also requires the Land Use Commission to adopt rules that establish uniform requirements for agricultural tourism and agricultural tourism activities throughout the state, in order to promote agriculture and address community concerns. The bill provides details on what the rules must cover, such as access to farms, accessory facilities, visitor activities, operating hours, and the automatic termination of authorization for agricultural tourism upon the cessation of the bona fide agricultural activity.
