AI Summary

This bill would automatically restore the right to vote for people who have been convicted of a felony once they have satisfied all the sentencing requirements of their conviction. Currently, people convicted of certain crimes lose their right to vote, but under this bill, their right to vote would be suspended upon conviction and then automatically restored after they have completed their sentence. The bill also makes conforming changes to various sections of the Mississippi code related to voter registration and the state's Statewide Elections Management System to reflect this change.
