The bill provides exceptions for poll workers and election officials carrying out their duties, and establishes penalties for violations, with the first two violations being infractions punishable by a fine, and three or more violations being a misdemeanor. The bill also declares an emergency to allow it to take effect immediately upon passage and approval.
