This bill, the Farm to Fly Act of 2024, aims to enable access for sustainable aviation fuels within U.S. Department of Agriculture bio-energy programs. It does this by amending the Farm Security and Rural Investment Act of 2002 to include a definition of "sustainable aviation fuel" and to allow for the support of sustainable aviation fuel production under the Biorefinery, Renewable Chemical, and Biobased Product Manufacturing Assistance program.
