This bill removes the restrictions that previously allowed only students, parents, or guardians of students to access online curriculum. It now allows any taxpayer to access the county-adopted class curriculum posted on the school's website. Additionally, the bill allows any individual, not just parents, custodians, or guardians, to inspect instructional materials adopted by the county board and books in the classroom. The bill also requires teachers to include required books on the class syllabus and makes it easier for individuals to file complaints if teachers fail to comply with the provisions of the bill.
