This bill provides authority for West Virginia law enforcement agencies to fine individual vehicle owners who fail to register their vehicle that have been parked at their residence for more than sixty days. The bill adds a new subsection (c) to the existing law, making it unlawful for a person to have a vehicle parked at their residence for more than 90 days without it being properly registered and titled. It also adds a new subsection (d) that imposes a misdemeanor penalty, including fines and/or jail time, for violating the new registration requirement.
