This bill amends the Physical Therapy Practice Act to further provide for definitions, powers and duties of the physical therapy board, continuing education, and the practice of physical therapy. The key changes include: removing the "certificate of authorization" requirement to practice physical therapy without a referral, updating continuing education requirements, and extending the time a physical therapist can treat a patient without a referral from 30 to 60 days. The bill also updates references to the Right-to-Know Law.
