This bill amends the Tennessee Code Annotated to extend the voluntary extension of foster care services from a young adult who is at least 18 years of age but less than 21 years of age to a young adult who is at least 18 years of age but less than 23 years of age. The bill changes the ages referenced in the existing law from "twenty-one (21)" to "twenty-three (23)" and from "twenty-first" to "twenty-third". The bill takes effect on July 1, 2024.
