This bill amends the Illinois Vehicle Code to provide a reduced vehicle registration fee of $100 for any Illinois vehicle owner who has been issued a driver's license with a veteran's designation, starting with the 2025 registration year. The bill builds upon an existing provision that allows a 50% reduction in the standard registration fee for Illinois vehicle owners who were on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces and stationed outside the United States for at least 90 days during the previous registration year.
