This bill amends the classification of commercial dog and cat breeder data collected and maintained by the Board of Animal Health, modifies kennel and dealer advertising requirements, and requires the Board to post certain kennel, dealer, and commercial breeder information. The bill changes the classification of some animal premises data from private or nonpublic to allow for disclosure to aid in law enforcement or protect public/animal health and safety. It also requires kennels to include their state license number or a board-approved symbol in all advertisements and promotions, and requires the Board to share information about licensed and unlicensed kennels and dealers upon request, including inspection reports and license status.
