This bill requires each public institution of higher education to post on its Internet website a syllabus for each undergraduate course offered for academic credit by the institution. The syllabus is to include: (1) a brief description of each major course requirement, assignment, and examination; (2) the titles and authors of any required or recommended reading; and (3) a general description of the subject matter of each lecture or class. The bill further provides that the syllabus is to be made available no later than the seventh day before the first day of the course registration period for the semester during which the course is being offered.
