This bill modifies recording fees collected by county clerk and recorders in Colorado. It increases the base recording fee from $10 to $40 per document, except for certain vital records. The bill also delays the repeal and sunset review of the Electronic Recording Technology Board from 2026 to 2029 and makes an appropriation to the Department of Revenue to implement the changes. Additionally, the bill allows county clerk and recorders to leave social security numbers unredacted on public documents at the request of the individual assigned the number or their representative.
