This bill appropriates $3 million from the bond proceeds fund to the Public Facilities Authority for a grant to the city of Henderson to design and construct a new water treatment facility and connect it to the existing well and water distribution system. The commissioner of management and budget is authorized to sell and issue state bonds up to $3 million to provide the appropriated funds, as prescribed by Minnesota Statutes and the state constitution. The bill becomes effective the day following its final enactment.
