AI Summary

This bill amends Georgia law to establish procedures to protect the personal information of state and federal judges, justices, and their spouses. The Administrative Office of the Courts will create a database of protected persons and their personally identifiable information, such as phone numbers and addresses. State and local government entities that possess this information are required to restrict public access to it, unless they have obtained the protected person's written consent or the person has resigned, retired, or been removed from office. The bill also requires judicial councils and judges to provide notification to the Administrative Office of the Courts when judges are elected, appointed, resign, retire, or are removed from office.
