AI Summary

This bill provides immunity from certain criminal prosecutions and civil liability for law enforcement officers whose use of force is justified or otherwise lawful. It amends the Georgia code to include Code Section 17-4-20, which relates to arrests and use of force by law enforcement officers, as one of the justifications for the use of force that would provide immunity. The bill also specifies that it applies to all offenses committed and causes of action accruing on or after the effective date of the legislation.
