This bill amends existing law to revise certain requirements for electrical contractors in Idaho. The key provisions are: 1. Electrical contractors must employ a full-time journeyman electrician with at least 2,000 hours of documented experience or a master electrician, or the individual owner can act as their own journeyman or master electrician if they have complied with the law. 2. The supervision ratio for apprentice electricians is changed to allow one residential electrician, journeyman electrician, or master electrician to supervise up to six apprentices in a residential setting, and one journeyman or master electrician to supervise up to two apprentices in non-residential settings, with an exception for apprentices with 6,000 or more hours of experience. 3.
