This bill, titled the "No Indoctrinating Children in Elementary (NICE) Act," prohibits the provision of sex education for public school students in Georgia before sixth grade. It requires revocable written consent from parents or guardians before any sex education can be provided, and mandates that public schools and school systems afford parents and the public the opportunity to review and comment on proposed sex education curricula before approval.
