This bill establishes the "Disabled Veteran and Dependents Patriot Scholarship Program" to provide tuition and fee waivers for eligible veterans and their families to attend Mississippi universities and colleges. The program defines eligible veterans as those with certain service-connected disabilities, including former prisoners of war, those declared missing in action, or those rated at 40% or more disabled by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
