This bill appropriates $1,000,000 in fiscal year 2025 from the general fund to the Commissioner of Natural Resources for a feasibility study, engineering, and construction of three segments of the Camp Ripley/Veterans State Trail. The three segments are: (1) from the city of Little Falls to the Camp Ripley Military Museum, (2) from Blanchard Dam in Morrison County to Lindbergh State Park, and (3) from the Paul Bunyan Trail in the city of Baxter to the city of Pillager. The appropriation is a one-time funding and is available until the project is completed or abandoned, subject to the requirements of Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.642.
