This bill modifies the Tourism Supplemental Revenue Fund. It creates a special fund in the state treasury, called the Division of Tourism Supplemental Revenue Fund, which will consist of monies appropriated by the General Assembly and other federal, private, or other sources. The monies in this fund will be used solely by the Division of Tourism of the Department of Economic Development to carry out its duties and functions. The bill also requires the Division of Tourism to present a promotional marketing strategy to certain legislative committees before any appropriations are made from the fund.
