This bill makes a $500,000 supplemental appropriation from the General Fund to the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for the dredging and restoration of the Peckman River. The funding will be allocated to the Townships of Cedar Grove, Little Falls, Verona, and the Borough of Woodland Park, based on an application process established by the DEP Commissioner and approved by the Director of the Division of Budget and Accounting. The project includes dredging, restoration, cleaning, and desnagging activities, as outlined in the municipalities' joint plan submitted to the Commissioner.
