This bill allows public school boards in Louisiana to employ or accept volunteer certified chaplains to provide support, services, and programs for students, staff, and parents. The bill also sets hiring requirements, prohibiting the employment or acceptance of chaplains who are registered or required to register as sex offenders or child predators.
