This bill modifies the Northstar Care for Children benefits for children under the age of six and children transferred into the Northstar Care for Children program. It amends Minnesota Statutes to provide the full amount of benefits under the program for these children, rather than the previous 50% rate. The bill also requires the state to cover the cost of eliminating the alternate rates for preschool entry into kinship assistance or adoption assistance, as well as the cost of children transferring into the Northstar Care for Children program.
