AI Summary
This bill amends Louisiana's election laws to require the registration of "third-party voter registration organizations" that solicit, distribute, or collect voter registration applications. These organizations must acknowledge the applicable laws and election offenses related to voter registration activities. The bill also creates a new criminal offense for filling out another person's voter registration application, except when providing authorized assistance. Additionally, it requires third-party voter registration organizations to submit completed voter registration applications to the registrar of voters within 30 days of receiving them from the applicant or by the voter registration deadline, whichever comes first.
