This bill amends the Fair Meals Delivery Act of 2022 to modify the requirements for third-party meal delivery platforms in the District of Columbia. The key provisions include: (1) prohibiting third-party platforms from excluding any restaurant with whom they have an agreement from the relevant search results within 4 miles of the restaurant; (2) prohibiting platforms from reducing a restaurant's delivery radius below 4 miles based on the commission level, though they can offer a larger radius for a fee; and (3) prohibiting platforms from reducing the number of food delivery workers available to a restaurant based solely on the commission level, though they can offer priority delivery services for a fee. The bill is enacted on an emergency basis and will remain in effect for up to 90 days.
