This bill appropriates additional funding to Idaho Public Television for fiscal years 2024 and 2025. It provides $68,500 in additional funding for personnel costs and capital outlay in fiscal year 2025, and $700,000 in additional funding for operating expenditures and capital outlay in fiscal year 2024. The bill also grants reappropriation authority to use any unexpended and unencumbered balances from the Idaho Millennium Income Fund and the Federal Grant Fund in fiscal year 2024 for nonrecurring expenditures in fiscal year 2025. The emergency clause in the bill makes Section 4, which provides the additional funding for fiscal year 2024, effective immediately upon passage and approval, while Sections 1 through 3, which cover the fiscal year 2025 appropriation and reappropriation authority, take effect on July 1, 2024.
