This bill appropriates additional funds and authorizes additional positions for the Office of the State Board of Education for fiscal years 2024 and 2025. * The Office of the State Board of Education receives $1,712,900 for fiscal year 2025 for OSBE Administration, IT and Data Management, and the School Safety and Security Program. This funding comes from the General Fund, In-Demand Careers Fund, and Miscellaneous Revenue Fund. * An additional ten full-time equivalent positions are authorized for the Office of the State Board of Education for fiscal year 2025. * Up to $15,000 from the General Fund is reappropriated for nonrecurring expenditures related to School Facilities Safety and Security Grants for fiscal year 2025. * Up to $19,800,000 from the Federal COVID-19 Relief Fund is reappropriated for nonrecurring expenditures related to rebuilding the Idaho System for Education Excellence for fiscal year 2025. * Up to $27,434,700 from the American Rescue Plan Fund is reappropriated for nonrecurring expenditures related to rebuilding the Idaho System for Education Excellence for fiscal year 2025. * An additional $30,800 from the Miscellaneous Revenue Fund is appropriated for operating expenditures for the OSBE Administration Program for fiscal year 2024 to build a direct admissions program.
