This bill appropriates a total of $1,261,000 to the Agricultural Research and Cooperative Extension Service for fiscal year 2025. * $1,119,000 is appropriated from the General Fund for personnel and operating costs. * $142,000 is appropriated from the ARPA State Fiscal Recovery Fund for operating costs. * The bill authorizes an increase of 2.37 full-time equivalent positions for the Agricultural Research and Cooperative Extension Service for fiscal year 2025. * Unexpended funds from the ARPA State Fiscal Recovery Fund for adult computer literacy from fiscal year 2024 are reappropriated for nonrecurring expenditures related to adult computer literacy for fiscal year 2025. * The Agricultural Research and Cooperative Extension Service is exempted from certain limitations on transferring funds between expense classes for fiscal year 2025. * The bill takes effect on July 1, 2024.
