This bill modifies the reporting requirements for 340B covered entities in Minnesota. The 340B Drug Pricing Program is a federal program that provides eligible healthcare providers with discounts on prescription drugs. The bill requires 340B covered entities to maintain a current registration with the commissioner and report annually on their 340B program activities, including the aggregated acquisition cost of 340B drugs, the payments received for 340B drugs, the number of 340B drug units dispensed, and payments made to contract pharmacies and other entities. The bill also allows the commissioner to impose fines for non-compliance and grants the commissioner the authority to provide extensions or exemptions from the reporting requirements. The data submitted by the covered entities will be used to produce an annual aggregated report to the legislature.
