This bill, the Airport Ramp Worker Safety Act, requires the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Administrator to initiate a "Call to Action" safety review of airport ramp worker safety within 180 days of the bill's enactment. The review will examine FAA regulations, guidance, and directives related to ramp worker procedures and oversight, as well as review accident and incident data, training materials, communication methods, and safety markings on the ramp. The Administrator must then submit a report to Congress with recommendations for actions or best practices to improve ramp worker safety, and initiate necessary actions based on the review's findings. Additionally, the bill requires the FAA to develop and publish training materials on aircraft engine ingestion and jet blast hazards for ground crews within 6 months of the safety review's completion.
