In schools, the bill expands the list of prohibited items that cannot be served, sold, or given away before the end of the school day to include Red 40, Yellow 5, Yellow 6, Blue 1, Blue 2, and Green 3, which are artificial food colorings. These changes aim to improve the safety and quality of food available to the public and, more specifically, to students in schools.
