This bill appropriates a total of $55,000,000 to the Department of Health and Welfare for the Division of Medicaid for fiscal year 2025, while also reducing a separate appropriation by the same amount. * An additional $5,500,000 is appropriated from the Cooperative Welfare (General) Fund and $49,500,000 from the Cooperative Welfare (Federal) Fund for trustee and benefit payments for the Expansion Medicaid Plan. * The appropriation to the Division of Medicaid for the Basic Medicaid Plan is reduced by $5,500,000 from the Cooperative Welfare (General) Fund and $49,500,000 from the Cooperative Welfare (Federal) Fund. * The bill is effective on and after July 1, 2024.
