This bill appropriates additional funds to the Public Schools Educational Support Program's Division of Facilities for fiscal year 2025, while also reducing other appropriations to the same division and transferring money from the Public School Income Fund to the General Fund. * An additional $202,978,700 is appropriated to the Public Schools Educational Support Program's Division of Facilities from the School District Facilities Fund for the period July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025. * The appropriation to the Public Schools Educational Support Program's Division of Facilities is reduced by a total of $55,882,200 for the period July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025. This reduction comes from: * $2,475,800 from the Public School Income Fund. * $23,781,400 from the Bond Levy Equalization Fund. * $29,625,000 from the School District Building Account. * $2,475,800 is transferred from the Public School Income Fund to the General Fund on or after July 1, 2024, for the period July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025. * The bill clarifies that the reductions listed in Section 2 are also reductions from the General Fund ($2,475,800), Bond Levy Equalization Fund ($23,781,400), and School District Building Account ($29,625,000) for the same fiscal year. * The bill declares an emergency and takes effect on July 1, 2024.
