This bill establishes a sick leave bank for Michael Lewis, an employee of the Department of Correction. The bill allows other employees of the Department to voluntarily contribute their sick, personal, or vacation days to the sick leave bank for use by Michael Lewis. If Michael Lewis terminates employment or requests to dissolve the sick leave bank, any remaining time in the bank will be transferred to the extended illness leave bank. The sick leave bank days can only be used for absences related to the illness or disability that necessitated the establishment of the bank, as determined by the Department.
