This bill, the Transparency and Predictability in Small Business Opportunities Act, requires the Small Business Administration (SBA) to issue rules within 180 days to disclose information about cancelled solicitations, including the justification for cancellation, plans for reissuing the solicitation or incorporating the requirements into another contract, and procedures for referring affected small businesses to the agency's Director of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization for assistance in identifying similar contracting opportunities. The bill also amends the Small Business Act to add this referral assistance as a duty for the Directors. Additionally, the bill states that no additional funding is authorized to carry out the provisions of the Act.
