This bill, the Lieutenant Osvaldo Albarati Stopping Prison Contraband Act, amends Section 1791(b) of Title 18 of the United States Code to increase the penalty for the prohibited possession of a phone in a correctional facility. Specifically, it adds possession of a phone under Section 1791(d)(1)(F) to the list of prohibited items, and removes the reference to possession of a phone under Section 1791(d)(1)(F) from the lower penalty provisions.
