This bill amends the Local Finance Law to facilitate the marketing of any issue of serial bonds or notes issued by the City of Buffalo on or before June 30, 2025. The bill allows the city to arrange for the underwriting of its bonds or notes at private sale through negotiated agreement, or for the private sale of its bonds or notes through negotiated agreement, with the cost of such underwriting or private placement deemed a preliminary cost. The bill extends the sunset date for these provisions from June 30, 2024, to June 30, 2025.
