This bill requires the Department of Transportation (DOT) to erect and maintain highway exit signs to assist motorists in the identification of, availability of, and direction of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. The bill requires that the dimensions and location of each EV charging station highway exit sign comply with all applicable federal and State laws and meet all design and placement guidelines for such signs as established pursuant to the provisions of the "Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highways."
