This bill amends Title 42 (Judiciary and Judicial Procedure) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes to increase the annual registration fee paid by the Office of the Court Administrator of Pennsylvania to the Special Court Judges Association of Pennsylvania for each magisterial district judge and Philadelphia Municipal Court Judge from $200 to $600. The bill also provides for the annual increase of the registration fee based on the percentage increase in the Consumer Price Index for Urban Workers, to be published in the Pennsylvania Bulletin by the Supreme Court. The bill further specifies that the funding for the other expenses set forth in this section shall come from the annual appropriation made to the magisterial district judges.
