This bill enacts new sections of the Ohio Revised Code regarding virtual net metering and meter aggregation. The bill sets requirements for virtual net metering systems, including location, size, and interconnection with the electric utility's grid. The bill also requires electric utilities to assist customers in calculating their electricity requirements and to develop standard virtual net metering contracts or tariffs. Additionally, the bill allows virtual net metering customers to aggregate their electric meters within the same utility's service territory as the virtual net metering system. The Public Utilities Commission is directed to adopt rules to administer these new provisions.
