This bill requires various entities, such as emergency services providers, emergency departments, community health centers, law enforcement agencies, and fire departments, to record and report information on the circumstances of fatal and non-fatal opioid overdoses to the Department of Public Health within 24 hours of the incident or after receiving the toxicology or autopsy report. The Department must maintain and regularly publish overdose data on its website, excluding any personally identifiable information, and issue regular data reports on overdose incidents in the Commonwealth. The provisions of this bill will take effect one year after the effective date of the act.
