This Resolution establishes the Fire Protection and Construction Code Task Force to study the potential impact of switching from the National Fire Protection Association's (NFPA) life safety and fire prevention codes to the International Code Council's (ICC) International Building Code, International Existing Building Code, and International Fire Code, as proposed in Senate Bill No. 489 of the 2024 Regular Session.
