This bill, called the "Warriors to Workforce Act", aims to increase the amount of educational assistance paid by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to eligible individuals during the first year of a full-time program of apprenticeship or other on-the-job training. Specifically, the bill amends Section 3313(g)(3)(B) of Title 38 of the United States Code to increase the percentage of educational assistance paid from 80% to 90% during the first year of such a program. This change is intended to provide veterans with additional financial support as they transition from military service to the civilian workforce through apprenticeship or other on-the-job training programs.
