This bill expands the use of videoconferencing to allow members of purely advisory committees and subcommittees of public bodies to attend meetings remotely and be considered present for purposes of fulfilling quorum requirements. The bill requires that at least one physical location be provided for the public to attend, listen, and observe the meetings, and that the location meets all physical access requirements. The amendments made by this bill will not affect the eventual repeal of the section of the law being amended.
