This bill requires the Secretary of Commerce to conduct a public awareness and education campaign to provide information regarding the benefits, risks, and prevalence of artificial intelligence (AI) in the daily lives of individuals in the United States. The campaign will include efforts to facilitate access to information about AI, promote best practices for detecting AI-generated media, conduct outreach to the general public and vulnerable populations about AI, and provide information about workforce opportunities in the AI field. The Secretary is required to consult with a variety of stakeholders and submit a report to relevant congressional committees on the activities and effectiveness of the campaign.
