This bill amends the Human Services Code to require the Department of Human Services to set the Medicaid reimbursement rate for custom prosthetic and orthotic items and services at no less than the current Medicare fee schedule for those items and services in Pennsylvania. It also requires the Department to update the Medicaid program to include all codes for custom prosthetic and orthotic items and services listed in the current Medicare fee schedule. The bill specifies that it does not supersede existing provisions related to the Medical Practice Act of 1985.
