This bill authorizes the town of Holliston to grant an additional license for the sale of all alcoholic beverages (not to be consumed on the premises) to the Central Café & Convenience located at 92-94 Central Street. The license cannot be transferred to a different location, but can be granted to a new applicant at the same location if certain requirements are met, such as the business being in good standing with the Department of Revenue and Department of Unemployment Assistance. If the license is terminated or not renewed, it must be returned to the licensing authority, which can then grant it to a new applicant at the same location. The bill requires the license to be issued within one year of the effective date of the act.
