This bill authorizes the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) to convey a certain parcel of land in the town of Stoneham to Wakefield Investments, Inc. The parcel, a portion of Parcel 2-31 that was taken for highway purposes in 1958, is landlocked and adjacent to the abutting property owner at 100 Maple Street. The consideration for the conveyance shall be the full and fair market value of the parcel, as determined by the MassDOT secretary and agreed to by Wakefield Investments, Inc. Additionally, Wakefield Investments, Inc. will be responsible for all costs and expenses related to the conveyance, including engineering, surveys, and other associated fees.
