This bill authorizes the City of Boston's licensing board to grant additional non-transferable, restricted liquor licenses for the sale of alcoholic beverages to be consumed on the premises. Specifically, the bill allows for up to 3 all-alcoholic beverage licenses and 2 wine and malt beverage licenses annually for a 3-year period in certain zip codes, as well as 3 all-alcoholic beverage licenses in the Oak Square section of Brighton, and 15 non-transferable licenses for community spaces, theaters, and non-profit organizations. The licenses are subject to certain conditions, such as requiring food service and prohibiting transfers outside of the designated areas.
